Bonnie Meetze, Principal
Mrs. Meetze grew up in Leesville, SC, but graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Portland, Oregon. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of South Carolina, and spent some time in the Navy as a Medical Corpsman and Naval Psychological Technician. She also holds a Master’s of Christian Counseling from Christian Leadership Seminary and a Master’s of Education K-8. She has held positions as an educator in both the public and private sectors for the past fifteen years. She has also served with her husband of 25+ years, who is an ordained minister, former pastor, Christian educator, and missionary. Mrs. Meetze is beginning her journey with CCA in 2010.

Mary Kyzer, Administrative Assistant
Ms. Mary has been at CCA for over ten years working as the office manager, bookkeeper, and all-around glue that holds the details of the school together.

Mr. Martin 5th-8th Grades Science/Social Studies
Mr. Martin attended CIU where he majored in Bible Teaching and Biblical Studies. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Bible Teaching and a wealth of experience in practical ministries such as teaching, evangelism and discipleship in the downtown areas of Columbia. Before coming on as part-time staff at CCA he worked at Crossover Communication International in the area of missions mobilization, ColumbiaCrossroads DT Church with the poor/homeless community, and as the Director of Middle and High School Youth at Holland Avenue Baptist Church. Currently he is a supervisor for the ACE curriculum here at CCA working with High, Middle and Elementary school students.

Mr. Hicks, 5th-8th Grades Math
Mr. Hicks is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a Master’s of Engineering in Systems and Info. Engineering. He is also a graduate of CIU with a General MDiv. Mr. Hicks has been at CCA since 2009.

Mrs. Wallace, 3rd and 4th Grades
Mrs. Wallace is a graduate of Francis Marion University with a BA in Elementary Education. She has been a Christian educator for 16 years and has been at CCA since 1999.

Mrs. Dittmar, 1st and 2nd Grades
Mrs. Dittmar is a graduate of Southwest University in Springfield, MO with a degree in Elementary Ed. and Special Ed. She has a Master’s Degree in Elementary Ed. from Columbia College. She has been at CCA since 1999.

Mrs. McElveen, Kindergarten (K5)
Mrs. McElveen is a graduate of Benedict College, with a Bachelor in Social work and a minor in Education. She has been teaching for 20 years. She has been at CCA since 2000.
